Multilingual Family Interview for January 2019
This month, we interviewed Khadijah (@thekidspart) and her trilingual (English, Arabic, and Sindhi) family who live in Ireland.
Khadijah who has a unique background, is half English/Irish/ Singaporean and her husband is Pakistani. They have three kids that they are currently homeschooling.
One of their language challenges is the lack of reading materials available in Sindhi but a success is her son being able to read Arabic books from a young age. -
I was recently reminded about our multilingual journey such as how far we have come and how far we still have to go. Therefore, today, I am going to briefly update you on our journey as well as share some reflections on how to raise a multilingual family.
