This is a multilingual activity where students will learn how to say goodbye in 25 different languages with a reader and coloring pages. Each page includes a country, the language spoken in that country and a flag representing the country.
For example, in France, you say “Au revoir” in French or in Spain you say “Adios” in Spanish.
The teacher can read the “Goodbye” reader first talking about colors of each flag and could extend the activity by pointing where each country is on the map. The students then color in the Goodbye B&W pages.
The reader and coloring sheets are found on the same page. Each is half of a page.
This activity is especially important because we are living in a world where more and more families are multicultural and multilingual.
